Medical Doctors Only Apply. 55-114 Physician / Family Practice / Miami, FL smAllied Specialty-StateFloridaPhysican SpecialityFamily Medicine (without OB)Sub Specialty-Position TypePermanentRecruiter284Internal IDJR3DescriptionPhysician / Family Practice / Miami, FL ----FP Physician Needed for Miami, Florida.--100% OP Primary Care Position.--Primary care predominantly delivered to Medicare eligible population.--No hospital responsibilities, shared call.--Monday through Friday, no weekends.Position Status: FT --- Salary/40 hours per week--Salary: --(Hourly rate of $78.00) Annual salary of $162,240.00--Board certification (Hourly rate of $83.00) Annual salary of $172,640.00----BENEFITS:--CME ($500 annual)Renewal payment of medical state license, DEA, and NICA136 hours of Paid Time OffOne week of paid time off for CMENine paid holidaysHours worked on Saturday will be paid at a differential rate based on your hourly rate.Eligibility to participate in the incentive bonus program up to $5,000.00 monthly, subject to the terms and conditions specified in the incentive bonus metrics.Malpractice insurance will be paid by the company.----Eligibility for enrollment into health and benefit plans as of date of hire:--Health, dental and vision insurance (requiring a contribution by you based on your coverage level)--Coverage of $10,000 Basic Life and AD&D (100% employer paid)Aflac - supplemental insurance (no contribution from employer)----Major Responsibilities:--Current Florida licensure as a MD or DO.Board certification/eligibility in Family Practice/Internal Medicine.Managed Care Plans and Hospital Credentialing requirements.Maintains comprehensive professional liability insurance coverage (at Employer---s expense).Prior experience in managed care environment.Maintains BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certification and all required licenses (MD, DEA) except Physician will not be required to perform CPR.----Qualifications:--Coordinates the patients--- use of services available through Pre-Paid Health Plans functioning as a "case manager---.Available at the office during work hours and by phone during off hours for the staff, patients and or pre-admission needs to manage/coordinate patient care.Utilizes the physician, facility and ancillary contracted providers within the contracted managed care organizations--- networks whenever this is feasible.Complies with the contracted managed care organizations--- operation requirements.Reviews all acute care facility discharge summaries and reports and to maintain communication directly with providers.Communicates with admitting physicians, and any consultants providing care to patients.Participates in patient education programs & activities during working hours & after hours when not in conflict with Physician---s prior commitments and mutually agreed.----Community:--Miami, Florida.
