We thrive on passion and innovation and are looking for great people, with great ideas, who want to build the next big thing and develop while they do. *Note: this role is for a Fall (July to December 2024) co-op or post-graduate internship* We are looking for passionate students who have an interest in robotic vacuum software quality assurance testing. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual test cases, capturing clear documentation of results and defects, and providing input on the design of test fixtures and protocols that enable us to measure consumer satisfaction and product reliability for SharkNinja's current and future products. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the testing of a variety of SharkNinja products Assisting in the development of new testing protocols and test cases based on product requirements and new features Documenting results and classifying issues along with pictures Clearly communicating progress, blockers, and discovered issues to the wider manual testing team Working cross-functionally to build an understanding of all aspects of the robotic system Providing input/feedback on how to continually improve process within the team Helping other teams to troubleshoot issues with robot test units or field returns Requirements: A natural and effective communicator capable of reducing abstract concepts to reality in both oral and written form Attention to detail in everything you do Comfortable expressing a point of view to challenge conventional thinking An inquisitive personality (builder or tinkerer) Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexible in approach Preferred: Software programming or scripting experience (C++, Python, TTL) Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle Knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle Experience with Defect Tracking Tools Experience with Jira or similar and Test Case Management Tools Education & Preferred Experience Interest in testing consumer products Experience with robotics (e.g. microcontrollers such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi, sensors such as IR and Lidar) Working knowledge of Digital Multimeters, Tachometers and general lab equipment Pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or Engineering At SharkNinja, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are vital to our global success.
