Acorn by Synergie is actively seeking and experienced and detail orientated FAIR Engineer for their client, a leading global electronics company at their Barnstaple Facility. Scope of the role: To work alongside the Production Engineering team and Quality Engineering team to produce, capture and submit First Article inspection records in accordance with current AS 9102 standards. Key Responsibilities: customer contact and approval of both delta Fairs and full Fairs. Supplier Fair reviews and approvals Supporting the introduction of new parts and tools into the manufacturing environment. Evaluation of the Production of Support documentation for products including Route Cards, Job Traveller, Control Plans and Build Standards. Accurate and comprehensive understanding of GD and T as well as reconciliation of test data with tolerances. Qualifications / Experience / Personal Qualities Required: BTEC level 3 in Electronics. Technician level experience within a manufacturing environment Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels. Demonstrated organisational, planning and program skills with careful attention to detail. Good Understanding of the Quality Management System. Ability to read customer and supplier drawings Ability to read customer specifications and contribute to a compliance process Be a good Team Player. Have a strong technical bias. Work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Exposure to AS9100 Quality Procedures and Standards. A high standard of Maths and English. A strong interest in mechanical/electronic engineering. Competency in Microsoft Office for the preparation of documentation.
