Description:
Gasser Chair , the leading manufacturer of high-quality seating solutions, is seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining the extrusion process for our flexible PVC plastic products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in flexible PVC plastic extrusion and be able to work independently to ensure that production targets are met with high quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities : Set up and operate extrusion equipment to manufacture flexible PVC plastic products according to specifications Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings as needed to maintain consistent quality and throughput Conduct quality checks and make necessary adjustments to ensure product meets quality standards Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and procedures Record production data and maintain accurate records of production activities Requirements : Minimum of 3 years of experience in flexible PVC plastic extrusion Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Experience with extrusion equipment, including mixers, feeders, and extruders Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Short-term disability Long-term disability Tuition reimbursement Gasser Chair Company is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
