The ACP team undertake backssments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection. Experienced Social Worker – backssment & Child Protection You now have an opportunity to join Swindon Borough Council’s backssment and Child Protection Service ACP. The ACP team undertake backssments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection. Benefits Competitive salary up to £30.15 per hour. Only needed to be in the office in duty week and for emergencies Hybrid Remote. Flexible working. Duties and Responsibilities Carry out statutory backssments involving home visits, consulting with other professionals / practitioners and agencies. Provide high quality casework and service to vulnerable children and families. Please note you are expected to attend the office for 1 block week out of 5, whilst on duty. After the completion of the backssment, the case is either closed or held to the point of transfer to the Long-Term Locality Teams.
