Experienced Commercial/Industrial Welders needed in Knoxville, TN and surrounding areas Pay: $25 - $28/hr DOE *$150 Sign-on Bonus* IMMEDIATE START Responsibilities: Read blueprints and drawings Take measurements to plan layouts Set up welding machine according to specifications Weld components using semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Test all machine welds to ensure quality Weld by hand any leaks found in quality penetration die test Other duties as assigned Requirements: Must have minimum of 5 years of MIG/TIG/Stick welding experience 1-2 years of Commercial Construction experience Certified welders desired but not required We offer: Medical Dental Vision Life Short Term Disability All employees must have proper PPE to include hard hat, work boots, safety vest, safety glasses, work gloves and welding shield All SLS employees are required to comply with our Substance Abuse Prevention Policy as a condition of employment.
