Synonymous with excellence and innovation, Lane Powell's attorneys bring to their work a spirit of entrepreneurialism that is reflected in a client roster that includes some of the most venerable - and dynamic - companies and individuals in business today.We are seeking an experienced an experienced finance attorney for our aviation transaction practice in our Seattle officeJob Responsibilities:We represent a number of domestic and foreign airlines in all aspects for acquiring, selling, leasing, financing, maintaining and managing commercial aircraft. We also assist in a variety of regulatory matters. Duties would include:Negotiating new and used aircraft leases, finance and purchase transactionsClosing new aircraft deliveriesPreparing aircraft maintenance contractsPreparing various other aviation related contractsHandling aircraft lease returnsAdvising aircraft owners regarding regulatory compliance issuesMinimum Qualifications:Qualified candidates will have at least three years of commercial aviation transaction and finance experience as an attorney including experience with negotiating commercial aircraft debt instruments and operating leases. Work experience must include commercial operating lease and debt negotiation experience. We seek candidates with strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills who possess a high level of attention to detail.
