Trocaire College (www.trocaire.edu), a private, career-oriented Catholic college, is accepting applications for the position of Executive Vice President (EVP). The Executive Vice President is a new position for the College, and is the second ranking officer at Trocaire, acting for the President in his absence. The Executive Vice President works in collaboration with members of the Presidents Council to provide primary administrative leadership, direction, and evaluation for all activities of the College.The Executive Vice President works closely with the President in pursuing and addressing key strategic efforts to ensure long term sustainability of the College. The new EVP will carry responsibility for a defined portfolio of administrative functions such as: Workforce Development, Grants, Business Development for credit and non-credit offerings in collaboration with academic leadership and the enrollment services division and engage in external community partnerships to develop and refine the Colleges value proposition to the greater Western New York region and beyond. Qualifications and Skills: A Masters degree is required and an earned terminal degree is preferred Successful experience leading and managing a complex organization in a competitive environment A commitment to collaboration and transparency An understanding of and experience with non-traditional students and the associated market A visible and forward-thinking leader with skills to serve as an agent of change Process oriented with solid grasp of data analytics and performance metrics with the ability to diagnose problems The ability to utilize natural curiosity to create innovative solutions A commitment to a constituency type organization A commitment to credibly lead a strong academic community focusing on student success and while providing students access to academic opportunities that will be meaningful both personally and professionally An understanding of higher education finance and demographic trends affecting higher education The ability to identify institutional strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and opportunities and to develop a vision to lead Trocaire College forward Experience developing trusting relationships in a variety of key areas, thereby enhancing the organizations presence and reputation regionally and nationally An awareness of and appreciation for contemporary issues in higher education The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills The College was founded in 1958 by the Sisters of Mercy as Sancta Maria College, an institution to train women of the order. In 1965 the College admitted laywomen and in 1972 enrolled its first male students. Two years later, the College was renamedTrocaire. The College is located in Buffalo, New York, and offers associate and bachelors degree programs, as well as one-year certificate programs, and workforce development training in healthcare, business, hospitality, and technology. The College is home to the oldest, privateAssociate Degree in Nursing program in western New York. Trocaire has an extension site in Williamsville, New York and the total enrollment across both locations is approximately 1,300 students.Trocaire College is being assisted by the partners of Hyatt-Fennell.
