Position Overview This position is responsible for the operation of excavator/breaker to enhance production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc. : Conduct daily safety assignments (workplace exam, pre:shifts, JSAs, TRACK, etc.). : Perform pre:shift inspections on equiment. :Perform maintenance on equipment, such as fueling, lubricating, cleaning, and reporting faulty equipment to Supervisor: Operate front:end loader, and other equipment as needed.: Start engines, shift gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheels to operate loader.:Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front:end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material.:Assist with plant repairs and plant maintenance, such as cleaning up in and around the plant and quarry as directed.:Help with stone, concrete, asphalt, and shingle plants as needed.:Other duties as assigned.:Travel as needed to Millard, Fiddlers, East Petersburg, Landisville. Requirements : Must submit toa drug screen and criminal background check. :Able to work independently with attention to detail.:Able to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment.:Able to respond to stressful situations and customers in a professional, courteous manner.:Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long:term and short:term deadlines.:Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations. Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED equivalent. : Current drivers license is required.
