Event Host/Food Attendant role is Full-Time, up to 40hrs a week. Typical Shift is 2pm to 10pm (5 days) and 11am to 9:30pm (4days). We are a non-profit, private hotel that hosts education groups. Our Campus: As a unique nonprofit retreat for the education community, we are looking for team members who are passionate about our work and mission. Lone Rock retreat is a 7-acre village nestled into the hillside with 60 rooms, a lodge, seminar training facility and wellness building. Given our beautiful location in Bailey and altitudes of 8,000 - 8,500 our team members need to have endurance, the ability to lift, climb, carry, and most importantly have fun! The Event Host reports directly to the Director of Events. This role functions like a banquet attendant, however, has more guest engagement as the point of contact when out on the floor. The ultimate goal is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, food quality, area cleanliness and timeliness of service. Hosts m anage the event spaces and meal periods to ensure each food station is stocked with the right food, supplies and signage in accordance with the event details . Set the ambiance and atmosphere of the guest spaces including music, lighting, seating, etc. and s et guest spaces with needed pads, pens, TVs, Flip charts, speakers, etc. Keep all snack areas stocked including plate ware, glasses, utensils and napkins. Event hosts would at times lead hikes or other activities. Hosts need to have the ability to lift 50lbs. and walk, bend, climb stairs and perform at altitudes up to 9000.
