Governors Club is currently seeking several highly skilled bartending and service staff professionals to join our elite service team. Our staff enjoy a base salary of $15 - $17 per hour , daily complimentary staff meals, and complimentary uniforms. As an Event Bartender and Waitstaff Team Member , you enjoy the hustle and bustle that comes with working our private members only bar. Your warm, friendly, and professional demeanor creates memorable experiences for our members and guests. You anticipate their needs, provide excellent customer service, and ensure that requests are taken care of expediently. Duties and responsibilities include: Provide excellent customer service Make suggestions based on their preferences Take and serve bar beverages and food orders Enter guest orders into point-of-sale system Up-sell when appropriate Keep bar clean and tidy at all times Deliver checks and collect payments Cooperate and communicate with all bar, serve and kitchen staff Bartender Qualifications: Experience as a bartender Working knowledge of beer, wine and spirits Knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages Bartending certificate is a plus Strong teamwork and communication skills Professional and positive disposition Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to stand or walk for duration of shift Legally authorized to work in the United States Waitstaff Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills At least 18 years of age Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to stand or walk for duration of shift Legally authorized to work in the United States Previous experience preferred, but not required Employee Benefits include: Paid Vacation and Sick Time Available to Full time employees after 90 days Accrued time may not be used until employee has completed six months of employment Health, Dental, Vision Insurance Available to employees averaging 30 or more hours per week after 90 days - Employee cost $7.50/weekly 6 Paid Holidays Available to Full time employees after 90 days 401 K Retirement Plan All employees who complete 1000 hours in a plan year. Governors Club will match the employee contributions $0.50 for every $1.00 up to a maximum of 5%.
