Daly Land Services is a small business in West Chester, OH. We are professional, agile, and adaptive, our goal is to continue to grow and become a top provider of site development in the tri state area.Our work environment includes: Friendly co workers. Steady work flow. Organized Responsibilities:-We are looking for an employee to take a set of blueprints, upload them into Rocktek a 3D take off software, generate all of the necessary cuts and fills on the project. Calculate pipe bedding and backfill, calculate total debris of a structure needing to be removed, etc. Then find local suppliers for that specific project, collect and gather all of the necessary data we will need to estimate the project. If we want to bid a local project, we have a list of suppliers you would call, get up to date pricing of materials delivered etc. Then pass it over to an estimator. If you have estimating experience, we would love to bring on someone that could do take off to estimating. We are looking for someone motivated, someone willing to go above and beyond. We are not looking for someone that wants a job where they clock in do the bare minimum to get by. We want someone with fresh ideas, implement new systems if they find it will help them complete a task at hand. Someone we can count on, reliable, and consistent.Company:DLS is a considered a small company with under 50 employees, meaning this is not a mass excavation company. If that is what you are looking for this is not the job for you. We are looking for a team member to grow with us, we have been doubling in size every year and want to continue to grow. You must be organized, able to schedule deliveries in advance, set weekly goals and execute them. If there is downtime between estimates I would like you to do outreach, search bid boards, help to hunt down other work to bid. We typically have 3-4 take offs and bids to preform each week. We can offer full time remote working. You can make your own schedule though out the week, as long as your goals are met! The goals can easily be met within 40-50 hours a week. This can be a very flexible job. We can do training on the specific software, but we would really prefer you have a background in take offs and or estimating, blueprint reading/ 3D software.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
