POSITION PURPOSE We are seeking to hire a full-time Construction/Remediation Estimator to estimate projects and support marketing activities to new and existing clients. Requires a solid understanding of construction's true costs to increase margins' accuracy and line items with Xactimate. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: A solid understanding of the true costs of construction increases the accuracy of margins/line items within Xactimate Gain a deep understanding of the project requirements for the development of the scope of work Select, measure, and track metrics Perform complex analysis of collected data and metrics QUALIFICATIONS Technical Qualifications : Proficient in large loss and commercial claims Must be proficient with Xactimate or other loss estimation software Demonstrate efficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as use of PDA's Knowledgeable of Local, State, and Federal requirements Behavioral Qualifications : Communicate well; verbally and in written Analytical thinking skills Attention to detail Experience : One year of experience with Xactimate SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Valid driver's license required Ability to travel up to 100% of the time including international Valid passport WORK REQUIREMENTS Must be able to walk all job sites including adverse conditions that may result from losses Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 25 pounds unaided and move throughout worksites Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and using ladders to access rooftops Due to the nature of the work, often the job sites will be dirty, possibly cold or wet, and sometimes unsanitary.
