Position Purpose: The Estimation & Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for field scheduling of delivery and installation work, including manpower and vehicle assignments, as well as the estimation of installation work. This position requires the ability to analyze or decipher furniture blueprints and drawings to understand the project to provide accurate estimations. The Estimation & Scheduling Coordinator must also demonstrate alignment and commitment to Pigott's core values. Core Values Do the right thing. Possible Growth Opportunities: Install Manager Director of Installation Primary Position Accountabilities: Provide complete and accurate installation estimates. Schedule installers, vehicles, and equipment, including subcontractors. Coordinate and validate project information. Participating in meetings and discussions related to project planning and scheduling. Monitors project progress and makes adjustments to schedules as needed. Assist the installation team regarding punch list for the Project Management and CSC teams. Uploading weekly sub-c time into Pigott software Process development and documentation Additional Position Accountabilities & Expectations: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Back up to warehouse duties as needed Maintaining warehouse office supplies Assist with preparing training materials for new hires Assist with new hire tool kits and uniforms Create, prepare, and deliver reports on project estimates and scheduling related activities. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the estimation and scheduling process. Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and tools related to estimation and scheduling. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance overall project efficiency. Reviewing, analyzing and continuous evolving department standards Corporate Accountabilities & Performance Expectations: Provide prompt, courteous, and exemplary service to all customers, both external and internal, according to the corporate vision and core values of Pigott. Perform additional responsibilities at the request of the manager or the Pigott Leadership team. Demonstrate cooperation and teamwork in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the department. Adhere to Pigott corporate branding standards. Maintain confidentiality of business operations on behalf of Pigott and all clients. Position Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required. Ability to perform fundamental skills related to technology. Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum 1-year related experience in an installation environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience. Ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment. Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
