This position will provide functional expertise in Payroll configuration. You will work collaboratively with internal IT teams, Payroll team, HR teams and the operational business to help support bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls, ensuring employees pay is correct, policies are followed, and deadlines are met. This techno-functional role is responsible for configuration and incident/problem resolution for the end-to-end delivery of payroll at SRP. What You'll Do Provide production support for a complex union-based payroll lifecycle environment comprising of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, and hours to gross Time Management system Workforce Software. Design and maintain all SAP payroll components including wage types, benefits integration, deductions, limit on deductions, off-cycle activity, accumulations, date and period modifiers, third-party remittance, posting to accounting, accruals, tax structure, garnishments, BSI, and reporting. Analyze, advise, and support the payroll function to develop and implement improvements to streamline, simplify and optimize SAP solution. Help plan configuration of the SAP Payroll module as part of break-fix and improvements by understanding complex requirements and formulate cost-effective, best-in-class solutions to support business needs. Coordinate with technical developers to review specifications with customers, explain the design and obtain approval of specifications. Detail documentation of business requirements and solutions for payroll. Assist developers by responding to questions and clarifications. Assist customer with development of test cases, test scripts and test plans. Assist customer with integration and user acceptance testing. Evaluate the SAP EC-Payroll solution whenever required for IT or Business. Assist in the development of documentation for the Payroll Solution. Partner with the Business and IT to follow US/State/Local standards, policies, and legislation. Work on ticket resolution, investigation, research, and solution using available internal and external resources. Provide high-quality end-user support to SAP users, working closely with Payroll, Finance, HR, and Time and Attendance teams. This position requires knowledge in payroll tax administration, garnishment administration and ADP Smart Compliance. What It Takes To Succeed A successful candidate should have... Team mentality Problem-solving skills Attention to detail Expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central configuration Knowledge of Role Based Permission Experience with other SuccessFactors modules is a plus (Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Succession) Customer service skills to assist users at all levels of the company Experience Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at Level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three-years of experience at Level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities. Education Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment. Hybrid Workplace SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
