Job Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Apply safe working methods - Set-up, operate, various machines to include Crankshaft polishers, Crankshaft balancing, Manual Bridgeport milling center, Manual lathe, Hydraul ic press, Drill Press, thermal arc spray - Machine to tight tolerances - Perform a variety of associated functions to maintain continuous operation of the machines - Operate overhead cranes/jib cranes, grinders, hand tools, various power tools - Maintain required job skills and knowledge requirements - Maintain work area, equipment - Keep documents/Job records updated - Collaborates with team members in the creation, implementation, and training of standard work procedures - Follows and utilizes 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Standard Work - Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Lead Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Technical school or certification in related discipline preferred - 3-5 years as a machinist - Use of fine motor skills - Use of hand tools/Power tools - Computer skills - Ability to read prints/ Reverse engineer parts for recreation, create blue prints -Ability to use Micrometers, Dial bore gages, snap gages, Calipers, for quality inspection of parts We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
