Responsibilities Support (e. g. plant identification, bird sweeps, etc) in conducting environmental surveys/ backssment (examples: aquatic, air emissions, contaminated sites, wildlife, vegetation, waste management, hazardous materials). Support the development and management of Risk Specific Guidance documents; Risk Specific Environmental Best Practices documents; and/or Environmental Management Plan documents through summary preparation and transcripts and filing of these documents. Environmental Field Work preparation – review files, support in ensuring proper equipment available, equipment calibration support. Data collection and management (field component and literature reviews) and reporting – collect data for uploading for collaboration. Participate in Annual EMS Risk Registry meetings and review and provide support to ensure proper risk controls are in place. Support quarterly reporting process by providing required inputs to Manager preparing submission. Performs duties of a minor nature related to the above duties, which do not impact the rating of the job. Requirements Successful completion of a Technical Diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Planning, Biology, Forestry, Hydrogeology, or Chemical Engineering or a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution. .
