Mabbett & Associates, Inc. (Mabbett) is seeking an environmental project manager to support the firm's growing Site Assessment and Restoration (SAR) practice, with an emphasis on assignments working under the provisions of CERCLA and the MCP. As a member of the firm's SAR Group, this position will serve the federal, state, commercial, and industrial sectors from initial Phase I environmental site assessments through remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remediation system design, installation, system operation and long-term maintenance and monitoring support. This role will work with a wide variety of clients, from local manufacturers to complex high-visibility Brownfield redevelopment projects and Federal HTRW projects working under provisions of CERCLA, TSCA, RCRA, and the MCP. Position Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Environmental Engineering, Geological Sciences, or Environmental Sciences. Minimum of 10 years of experience in site assessment and remediation with experience managing HTRW-type Federal projects. Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) or other state-issued license a plus. Design and implementation of complex environmental site investigations, including experience across all environmental media involving innovative, direct sensing, and conventional investigation techniques. Remedial system design, monitoring, and operations experience. Excellent technical writing skills with demonstrated technical experience, including preparing site investigation reports, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, cost estimates, remediation system designs, bidding documents and specifications. Excellent organizational and personal communication skills; ability to successfully interact with clients, staff and peers clearly and directly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, Access, Project, and Excel. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and current 8-hour refresher certification. OSHA 30-hour Construction training a plus. Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified. Must possess or be able to obtain, as a minimum, OMB Position of Public Trust and Federal Protective Services Favorable designations (pass a federal background check). Other clearance requirements for access to federal facilities may be necessary and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, as well as a pre-employment physical and drug screen, to include cannabis.
