Practice Area: Criminal Law - Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm is seeking an Entry-Level Criminal Defense Attorney for their Fresno, CA office.Job Overview:The Entry-Level Criminal Defense Attorney will provide legal counsel to clients, represent them in court proceedings, and manage caseloads efficiently. They will be responsible for analyzing cases, drafting legal documents, and ensuring clients are prepared for all legal proceedings.Duties:Advise clients on their legal rights and draft legal documents related to their cases.Attend pretrial hearings on behalf of clients and provide post-hearing advice on case strategies.Manage court appearances and trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and conducting legal research.Analyze probable case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents.Manage workload efficiently and effectively.Provide legal analysis to clients to determine potential case benefits.Gather additional evidence to support clients' cases or arguments against prosecution charges.Prepare clients for depositions and determine case strategy goals.Collaborate with fellow associates in strategizing and case management.Requirements:Demonstrated interest in Criminal Defense law through law school clinics, volunteer work, or internships.Juris Doctorate degree.Active Bar admission (law graduates awaiting admission will also be considered).Ability to work well in a team environment.Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Proven ability to move legal cases forward and manage a caseload.Experience with Case Management Software preferred.Benefits Offered:The firm provides medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with an excellent compensation package.
