As an Engineering Shoring Advisor at United Rentals, you will be responsible for product development, field installation training, and solution consults for customers. You will support on-site installation instructions of slide rail systems to all existing and potential customers. Additional duties include the following:Seek out new customers, service current customers, and cultivate opportunities that lead to increase profitabilityProvide full range of services to new and current customers, including needs assessment, quotes, problem solutions, and follow up quality checksEducate customers on slide rail systems through demonstrations and training; educate their employees on the safe and proper installation/extraction and use of protective systemsProvide on-site installation and technical supportEducate district personnel on properly identifying slide rail/beam and plate opportunitiesEducate district personnel on the proper repair procedures of the slide rail systemOther duties assigned as neededJob Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience on Slide Rail Systems and InstallationMinimum 3-5 years underground construction experienceKnowledge of underground construction equipment capabilities, soil conditions, and safe working capacitiesKnowledge of OSHA safe working practices and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and ShieldingA valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and the ability to travel 75% of the timeThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
