The Engineering Manager Hydrogen Fuel Systems at Marshall Futureworx plays a pivotal role in the innovation and development of liquid hydrogen fuel system solutions for next-generation zero emission aircraft. This position leads the design and development of key functional aspects of the liquid hydrogen fuel system, ensuring compliance with engineering processes, safety standards, and performance targets. Within this context, the purpose of the Engineering Manager Hydrogen Fuel Systems is to: Provide leadership, management and technical oversight on the design, development and testing of the fuel system components and subsystems, initially through to ground demonstration at TRL 6 in 2027. Coordinate with various teams across the project collaboration, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, to ensure that the fuel system elements satisfy performance, safety, and applicable regulatory standards. Address issues that arise during the design and verification phases, apply thorough systems engineering practises to and make informed design and project decisions. Your responsibilities include: Implement and ensure compliance with Lifecycle Management and Engineering processes within Marshall Futureworx hydrogen industrial research context. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to the hydrogen fuel system. Lead the design and development of critical functional aspects of the liquid hydrogen fuel system, including Refuel/Defuel, Venting, and Hazard Suppression. Ensure the design meets performance.
