Put your engineering skills to work with hands-on projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers is looking for talented, self-motivated interns during the summer within our Engineering Department! Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Observe, document, and make recommendations to improve manufacturing processes. Gather and analyze data to assist in implementing our business Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software. Perform routine drafting duties Perform limited design responsibilities under the direction of an experienced team member. Help develop quotes for new or repair work under the direction of the Engineering Manager. Review the Bill of Materials for new and completed work orders. Performs duties in a safe manner; wears required PPE when appropriate. Observes and comply with all the provisions of the ISO 90001 QMS. Education and Experience Applicants should pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering and be knowledgeable in Excel and AutoCAD.
