Endocrinology physician employment in Iowa : Locums - Waterloo, Iowa, Endocrinology Job Clinical Role: Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees! Start: 7/1/24 Clinic only Monday-Friday, 6+ month assignment 8a-5p, 1-hour unpaid lunch Need to be able to see new patients and follow ups At least 12 patients per day no procedures Treatments required: full spectrum endocrinology. We also do bone density in this clinic. We do have a stand along cancer treatment center within a few blocks, so cancer patients can be referred there for specific cancer treatments but would follow up with endo for ongoing care. Must be willing to prescribe anti-obesity meds (phentermine, Topamax, wegovy, etc) along with the following patients (via labs and/or visits) for drugs such as methimazole and levothyroxine. A lot of diabetic patients. We have diabetic educators that can assist with education and sensor downloads. Diabetes, cushings, graves, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, parathyroid carcinoma, adrenal cancer, thyroid cancer EMR: EPIC Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of training) IA license - Required (non-licensed candidates will be redirected) BLS or ACLS - willing to obtain Must be local - Required Iowa Medicaid Enrolled - Preferred Must be available full-time - required Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
