Employment Specialists are essential for the difference they make in the lives of the people they work with daily. They teach life and work skills on a daily basis and develop individualized activities and job opportunities promoting personal growth and independence. Employment Specialists must communicate and problem solve effectively with all individuals, team members, and service providers to provide quality services for all individuals. Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in Human Services discipline preferred. Three years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Basic knowledge of computer applications. Valid driver's license. Must be able to pass criminal background checks.
