YOUR LIFE AS AN EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST This full-time vocational rehabilitation at our human services nonprofit position works during the day . As an Employment Specialist, you build relationships with program participants based on trust and seek to understand their needs, strengths, interests, aptitudes, experiences, and capabilities. You work with them to develop a service plan known as a Family Contract Amendment (FCA), which outlines their short- and long-term employment goals. Each month you meet with participants to discuss their progress and ensure they're clear on program requirements. You're quick to reach out and reschedule if they ever miss a scheduled appointment. To make sure participants have access to all of the support they need, you request necessary services from external providers. You run reports in our FedcapCARES program and use the data you find to plan daily and weekly tasks. Always acting professionally, you uphold policies and represent our nonprofit in all of your work.
