As a family-owned small business, Bonsor Mechanical Ltd. relies on the cooperation of its hardworking, enthusiastic team to get the job done with quality and efficiency. Job Description: Bonsor Mechanical is expanding and we are seeking to hire one (1) skilled Plumber to join our team in Surrey to service the Greater Vancouver Area. This is a full-time, permanent position which requires excellent customer service skills as well as a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License. A service van will be provided. Plumbers will be expected to perform a variety of functions including those set out below. Job Duties: • Install and repair plumbing systems; • Identify positions for pipe connections in walls and floors in both residential and commercial spaces and cut openings to accommodate pipes; • Use pressure gauges to test function of pipes; • Determine waste, drainage and water supply networks of properties based on blueprint drawings; • Prepare cost estimates for clients; Requirements & Qualifications: • Language of work: English; • 2+ years of experience; • Completion of Secondary School preferred but not required; • British Columbia Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driving record; • Excellent customer service skills; • Ability to work on weekends; • Open to constructive criticism; • Ability to work unsupervised; and • Effective interpersonal communication skills and a positive attitude.
