The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate (JD) and be licensed to practice law in PA. The role requires a deep understanding of qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, health and welfare plans, fiduciary governance, and benefits issues in transactions, including ESOP transactions. A demonstrated track record of success and a book of business are advantageous.Duties:Provide expert legal counsel and strategic guidance on employee benefits matters.Advise clients on qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, health and welfare plans, and fiduciary governance.Assist in benefits-related issues in transactions, including ESOP transactions.Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.Draft legal documents, including plan documents, amendments, and compliance materials.Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and litigation related to employee benefits matters.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.Minimum of 10+ years of experience advising on employee benefits matters.Strong understanding of qualified retirement plans and experience with welfare plans.Experience advising on compensation and benefits issues in transactions.Familiarity with executive compensation arrangements.Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.Education:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
