The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising on employee benefits matters, including qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, health and welfare plans, fiduciary governance, and benefits issues in transactions, with a preference for ESOP transactions. This role requires a Juris Doctorate (JD) and licensure to practice law in PA, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. A book of business is considered advantageous.Duties:Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of employee benefits matters, including qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, health and welfare plans, and fiduciary governance.Advise clients on benefits issues arising in transactions, including ESOP transactions.Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Draft and review legal documents, including plan documents, contracts, and agreements.Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings related to employee benefits matters.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in NV.Minimum of 10+ years of experience advising on employee benefits matters.Demonstrated experience with qualified retirement plans is required.Experience with health and welfare plans is preferred.Experience advising on compensation and benefits issues in transactions is required.Experience with executive compensation is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Skills:In-depth knowledge of ERISA, IRC, ACA, and other relevant laws and regulations.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Business development skills and a proven track record of client retention and growth.Note: A book of business is considered a plus.
