Description:
NETcom Cabling & Security Systems is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installer Technician. This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, radios, GPS systems, Partitions (Cages) and more. You will work closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and ensure that vehicles are equipped for optimal performance in emergency situations. Responsibilities: Install and configure emergency lighting, sirens, in-car cameras, and other electrical components. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues. Test and inspect installed equipment to ensure functionality and compliance and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs. Provide training and support to clients on equipment operations. Requirements/Qualifications: Previous experience in automotive electrical systems or related field. Strong understanding of vehicle electronics and wiring diagrams. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
