👩⚕️ RN Emergency Room Salem, VA 📍 Location: Salem, VA 24153 💰 Compensation: Hourly Salary range $32.11/hr - $45.87 /hr. 💼 Position Type: Perm Contingent Differentials: Night- $3.00, WE- Days- $3.00, WE- Nights- $7.00, Sign On Bonus - $15,000 w/ 2 yr commitment, Relocation Assistance up to $1,500 Position Details: 💼 Position Name: RN Emergency Room ⏰ Shift: Full-time • Nights, Days, Mixed, Evenings (Rotating Weekends) Job Summary: The Medical Center, a leading acute care facility in Salem, VA, seeks an experienced RN for our Emergency Room. As part of our team, you'll provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. We're a supportive family-like unit dedicated to delivering meaningful patient care. Responsibilities: 🚨 Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages. 🏥 Manage multiple cases, prioritize needs based on acuity levels. 🎯 Remain composed and professional, even under pressure. 🤝 Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team for effective follow-up care. 📝 Document effectively and timely according to organizational policy. 🤝 Coordinate functions with physicians and other hospital departments, maintaining patient focus and safety awareness. Requirements: 🎓 Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required). 📚 BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program (preferred). 📋 Current licensure as an RN in Virginia or multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA. 🩺 American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required). 🏥 1 year of RN ER experience in an acute care setting (considered). 🩹 Willing to cross-train med Surg candidates for NIGHTS SHIFT ONLY.
