Prince George Native Friendship Centre Are you skilled at empowering people? Have a strong sense of community, with a positive and uplifting attitude? Do you have experience in a food bank setting? Come join our team as a: Emergency Resources Coordinator Temporary Full-Time The Emergency Resources Coordinator will lead and oversee the daily operations of our Emergency Food Resource Program. Coordinate and oversee all logistics of food purchasing, clothing donation program and scheduling volunteers. This role provides our clients in Prince George who are experiencing difficulties with nourishing food hampers and other resources. You will provide support and information to clients and offer available resources when possible. Shopping, sorting, organizing, and providing respectful, courteous service is imperative. Diploma in a related field of study or an equivalent of correlated experience. Class 5 Driver's License. Certification in or willing to obtain: Food Safe, First Aid, Suicide Intervention, and Conflict Resolution. Ability to undergo a successful criminal record search. Strong community and cultural connections. Able to supervise and lead volunteers on-site at the food bank, coach, motivate and guide in duties.
