Site 1: ABEM/BEEM or ABFM/ABIM w/ EM Experience (ACLS, ATLS, Pals, and NIHSS all REQUIRED regardless of board status) Annual Vol: 18000 Patients/Day: 50-60 Physician Coverage: 24h Mid-Level Coverage: 12h Admission Rate: 5% Trauma Level: III EMR: Epic Scribes: No Floor Codes: Yes Hospital Beds: 52 Emergency Department Beds: 13 Nearest Trauma Center: Kansas University Specialty Backup: Limited (most patients are transferred, No ICU) Shift Times: 12h Shifts Site 2: ABEM/BEEM or ABFM/ABIM w/ EM Experience (ACLS, ATLS, Pals, and NIHSS all REQUIRED regardless of board status) Annual Vol: 20000 Patients/Hour: 2.5 Physician Coverage: 24h Mid-Level Coverage: 18h (8a - 5p; 3p - 12pa - 9p; 1p - 1a) Admission Rate: 22% Trauma Level: III EMR: Epic Scribes: No Admitting Orders: Bridge Only Floor Codes: Yes Hospital Beds: 221 Emergency Department Beds: 22 Nearest Trauma Center: Kansas University Specialty Backup: Comprehensive Shift Times: 12h Shifts (6a-6p ; 6p-6a)
