Emergency Medicine About the Role-- This Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall, Wisconsin is recruiting for a full time BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to work in their rural ER.-- Physician will be responsible for covering 160 hours per month in the ER and providing medical oversight in the emergency department to include: oversight of policies and procedures, education and training, quality measures, and implementing best practices and medical direction for our ambulance service. The Tri-County Hospital averages approximately 5,000 visits per year and is a level 4 Trauma Center with a full time experienced midlevel staff. The emergency department doubles as an urgent care for the community from 5pm-9pm on weeknights and 9am-9pm on weekends.-- There is no hospital rounding responsibility with this role.-- Their flexible scheduling allows for 12, 24 or longer shifts in addition to free access to an apartment on site for personal use. -- About the Facility and the Organization Tri-County Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home in Whitehall is a 25-bed hospital and 50-bed long-term care facility, providing 24-hour emergency service and evening and weekend Urgent Care. It has full laboratory and radiology departments; an outpatient and inpatient Rehabilitation Services department; cardiac rehabilitation phase II; Pulmonary Rehabilitation; Nutrition Services outpatient education; seasonal community wellness events; and more.
