Holy Angels Catholic School, a Mother Theodore Catholic Academy (MTCA) in Indianapolis, is seeking dynamic and a driven individuals for elementary teaching positions for the 2024-2025 school year. Holy Angels primarily serves an African American population of children, PK 3/4 to Grade 6. Our mission is to form Scholars and Saints by providing a challenging, faith-filled, educational experience that serves as the foundation for a life lived in service to Jesus by educating children to Seek, Persist, Excel, Love, and Serve in our Church, School, and Community to reach our goals of College and Heaven. In doing so, we will make strides toward our vision of transforming and revitalizing our community by becoming the highest performing urban, Catholic school in the city of Indianapolis. MTCA Teachers : • Model and inviting others into the joy of the Gospel • Plan and delivering effective, high-quality, rigorous instruction that meets scholars' needs and ensures student understanding • Create safe, positive, and joyful learning environments that strengthen the Catholic identity of the school • Build strong relationships with scholars and families • Use data to inform instruction • Work relentlessly with colleagues to close the achievement gap and put scholars on the path to College and Heaven • Benefit from MTCA staff, one-on-one professional coaching, professional formation workshops, and periodic faith formation opportunities Successful candidates should also: • Believe deeply that all scholars can and will learn • Exhibit core values of seek, persist, excel, love, and serve • Demonstrate self-awareness and a hunger for growth • Have experience in an urban elementary school setting (preferred) • Hold a Bachelor's degree (required) • Have a valid Indiana teacher's license (in process of obtaining or seeking reciprocity) (required) Successful candidates join the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and the MTCA network of schools.
