Tucson Unified School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Elementary Reading Intervention Teacher School Year: 2024-2025 Location: Borman K-8 School Summary: Contributes to the acceleration of our striving readers. Works extensively with students to help improve specific reading skills. Consults frequently with classroom teachers to design and plan interventions. Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services. Diagnoses reading strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate techniques and materials to promote interest in reading. Minimum Requirements: Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8 with Reading Endorsement K-8 or K-12 Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Preferred Requirements: Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
