This is a fantastic, varied opportunity with a strong emphasis on fault diagnosis, problem solving and design work. In addition to fault finding, the role includes various tasks from small PCB/cable assembly projects to large, complex system builds. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and innovative Electronics Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is a fantastic, varied opportunity with a strong emphasis on fault diagnosis, problem solving and design work. In addition to fault finding, the role includes various tasks from small PCB/cable assembly projects to large, complex system builds. You will have the scope to develop your role into a significant position within the company. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electronics Engineer with 3+ years of industry experience and a proven track record in diagnosing faults in complex electronic systems. Thus, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics and be able to read and interpret PCB and system level schematics. Key responsibilities will include: Fault diagnosis and design work at both PCB and system levels Fault diagnosis and support for equipment preparation PCB assembly Cable assembly Assembly of complex systems containing multiple electronics assemblies Functional testing of PCBAs and complex systems Your experience will cover some of the following: Component and system level fault finding Electronics design in a commercial or hobby level Read and following schematics to diagnose faults and build PCBAs and complex systeminteractionperience of DC motors, drives and encoders. Wired communications. RS485/Ethernet Hand soldering capabilities THT/SMT and Rework Wiring - Wire to wire, wire to board, wire to connector Use of diagnostic tools DMM, Scope, Signal Generator Report writing.
