The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.As a Power Electronics Engineer , you will work on the power architecture as well as development of power supplies and power distribution in a world class Integrated Product Development environment. This role will include the following responsibilities:* Design electrical power generation, regulation, and power distribution systems.* Generate and capture schematics.* Board and box test development.* Troubleshoot and determine root cause.* Coordinate technical work products between the electrical power subsystem, avionics, and systems engineering teams.* Oversee component (part, CCA, assembly) manufacture and test.* Provide periodic status to senior management.YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE: * 9-15 years of professional experience for this role.* Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.* Experience in power systems design and integration. * Ability and desire to obtain a Top Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship. Desired Skills: * Electrical power supply experience.* Experience in analog and digital circuit design.* Experience with System Modelling Tools such as Cameo.* Experience with Missile flight electronic components and/or power distribution subsystems.* Experience with a combination of design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.* Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.* Experience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tool experience.* Performed Worst Case Circuit Analyses (WCCAs).* Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.* Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.* Existing Top Secret clearance. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $109,500 - $209,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.
