The Electronics Engineer will be assigned to the F-22 Integrated Fighter Group CNI Hardware Team supporting the implementation of Communication, Navigation and Identification products on F-22 aircraft. The candidate will support design, development, integration, test and production build of subsystems for the F-22 Programs and will interface with suppliers regarding new subsystem capabilities. Candidate will be a liaison between the Air Vehicle Systems team and its customers to ensure conformance to cost, schedule, quality and technical requirements. Individual will be support development of solutions to technical problems of varying complexity, perform in a team environment and work under the direction of a group lead. Candidate will support subcontract planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk management. ***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access; a Secret clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years is required to start.***A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience. Basic Qualifications: -Bachelors degree in an Electrical/Electronics or Electronics/Computing Engineering program Desired Skills: - Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills. Needs to have the ability to convey technical data and concepts in concise messages and presentations- Experience with development, integration, test and sustainment of avionics systems- Experience with aircraft communications systems including MIDS and Link-16 Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
