This position will require at least 63% onsite work to be done in St. Inigoes, MD. This position will have demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise. This position will apply and integrate engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems. Primary Duties: Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, Quality Assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military C5ISR systems and associated support system or management information systems. Work is predominantly performed under the guidance and supervision of senior engineers and managers. Skills and Qualifications: Ability to lead the execution of complex tasks, when applicable. Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills. Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality. Microsoft office proficiency. Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to work independently Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines Detail oriented Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues Ability to adapt to evolving technology Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline In lieu of a bachelor's degree a substitution may be allowed for degree and years of applicable experience. Three (3) years of relevant experience. Of those three (3) years of relevant experience, at least two (2) years must be in engineering of CID systems. Clearance: This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
