The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview To provide a safe environment for all patients and staff through the application of approved engineering concepts and repair methods relative to systems used in patient care areas. The Dialysis Technologist will be responsible for the technical aspects of all patient care equipment within the Renal Program for both in-centre and Home Hemodialysis. The major responsibility is, ensuring that all complex medial devices used within the program and quality control of all technical aspects of different dialysis modalities are maintained at a high degree of efficiency to ensure effective, safe dialysis of the patient. Experience Working knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics and electrical installations. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of a recognized 2 year Electronic Engineering Technology Program. Senior matriculation with mathematics, chemistry and physics. Certification/Licensure/Registration Membership in CTTAM or eligible for CTTAM certification. Must have a valid Manitoba drivers license. Qualifications and Skills Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently.
