Planer Limited has, for over 45 years, been a market leading manufacturer of specialised life science equipment. We design and develop sophisticated microprocessor-controlled cryopreservation and incubation equipment for use in research and medical laboratories. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electromechanical Production Technician to join a small but growing team of assemblers and technicians. The successful applicant will be self-motivated with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly. With an understanding quality control. Key Responsibilities To carry out electro-mechanical assembly work on all products, working to drawings, parts lists, procedures, and work instructions. To carry out testing on all products, working to drawings, parts lists, procedures, and work instructions. To work on prototype work when required. Authorised to carry out inspection processes in line with QA procedures on all products when required. Conform where applicable to company quality management system procedures To carry out any packing requirements.
