Overview: The Bunge North America Emporia, KS location is looking for an Electrician to work in our soybean processing plant. The candidate will need to be able to work in a safe, team environment.Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer Essential Functions: Responsible for maintaining plant wide electrical troubleshooting and repair Responsible for maintaining all automation throughout the facility (electric circuits of 480VAC or less)Troubleshoot and repair high voltage lighting, variable frequency drive (VFD) and alternating current / direct current (AC/DC) systemsAbility to perform general electrician skills including but not limited to running conduit and sizing and pulling wire.Utilize the integrator to assign IP addresses to new equipment and to work with ladder logicAbility to read and understand ladder logic is requiredAbility to determine needs for installing new equipmentTroubleshoot and repair Programmable Logix Control (PLC) (Allen-Bradley) systems like, Logix Controls Check output on DC controllers and replace printed circuit boards when neededTroubleshoot, locate, test, identify, or diagnose electrical malfunction and then adjust, repair, or replaceAbility to follow, interpret, and read blueprints or schematicsCalibrate and/or troubleshoot process instrumentationInspect for conformity to industry standards or specificationsRebuild, repair and replace damaged, defective, or worn partsMaintain a clean and orderly work area and remove material and equipment from job sitePerform miscellaneous job related duties as assignedTroubleshoot and repair AC motor starter circuits Skill/Experience Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent required3-5 years of experience or schooling troubleshooting and repairing PLC's and electrical equipmentFamiliar with mass flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, burner control systems and other like equipment found in an automated plant requiredDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment Must be able to proficiently verbally communicate, read, and write in English for the purposes of record keeping and quality training and processes.Ability to work overtime as neededAbility to work on-call as neededBunge (NYSE: BG) is a world leader in sourcing, processing and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
