We manage the entire process from concept through engineering through installation and provide ongoing O&M support. What will you be doing as an Electrician?: The Electrician primary focus will be monitoring servicing the existing Solar Systems along with the associated monitoring devices, inverters, switch gear and electric sub-meters. This individual will need to diagnose problems and implement corrective actions with electrical equipment and wired and wireless local communication networks. This job will also include site visits during the construction phase and assist with start-up and commissioning of the data monitoring equipment. General information: Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and subcontractors Exhibits exemplary safe working behaviors Strong troubleshooting capabilities with electrical switchgear, electrical sub-meters, inverters, and local communication networks Installation Completes typical electronic equipment installation, system setup and programming Provides jobsite coordination with other installation contractors. Including scheduling with other trades if necessary Completes system testing, device verification, and assisting with the commissioning of all electrical & communication systems Effectively communicates the status of projects to management for the purpose of managing costs, billings, and collections on assigned projects Responsibilities could include independent ownership of a turnkey project or working with a project team and project managers as part of larger projects Provides quality assurance and control associated with electrical and communication systems as well as other aspects of solar installation. This will include site visits daily. Service Supports projects from installation to service Responsibilities include support of the service department for emergency service calls and/or technical/programming support Experience High School diploma or GED required. Graduate of Trade School Preferred. Certified Licensed Electrician is a plus Minimum 2 years' experience. Solar experience is a plus Cloud portal, servicing solar SCADA/monitoring devices, inverters, switch gear and meter experience preferred Other Requirements: Observe all company procedures and safety rules Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction May be required to satisfy other requirements imposed by specific projects, customers, or company needs, including to be vaccinated for the flu and/or Covid-19 and similar, subject to all applicable laws Valid driver's license (including a clean driving record) and evidence of insurability Full Time, 40 Hours / week Travel to job sites or other offices may be required This job description shall remain fluid and will be reviewed on an as needed basis .
