We are seeking a Controls Electrical Installation Trades Supervisor to join our team in Orlando, FL. This individual will be responsible for the safe operations of the electrical install team. This position requires thorough knowledge of low-voltage installation relating to BMS, Fire, Access, Security, and Network wiring, Panel Installation and Termination, and the Florida code book. How are you successful in this role? The ideal candidate must be able to assist sales in estimating electrical installation opportunities and projects. Responsible for the delivery of all electrical installation projects on-time and within budget. Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects for electrical installation projects. Plans, prepares, and organizes the electrical installation team. Assist with any electrical permitting required. Serve as a leader for the electrical installation team. Work closely with technicians and project managers as required. Create and manage all materials and material orders as related to the electrical installation. Enforce all Stark safety standards. Develop installation standards and best practices. Ensure standards are being followed in the field. Responsible for developing and ensuring ongoing training of field staff. Evaluates and inspects all ongoing and completed work for completeness and workmanship. What we are looking for? High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 years of experience in electrical installation, or the equivalent combination of education (technical school) and experience. Must have 10-hour OSHA certification. 30-hour OSHA is a plus. Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used on electrical installation projects. Thorough knowledge of safety precautions applicable to the use of installation equipment. Ability to give clear instruction and train others in the installation of electrical material. Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments. Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts and blueprints required. Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc. Effective oral and written communication including work summaries.
