What we're looking for: a Part Time Electricial Technology Faculty at our Fresno campus. Are you an accomplished professional in your field who wants to give back to your community? Joining the faculty at SJVC is a great way to make a real impact on the next generation. F aculty members are primarily responsible for the teaching and learning process in the classroom. F aculty member s facilitate and ensure student learning and mastery, of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes as defined in the curriculum and course syllabi . Fac ulty are supported and supervised by the Academic Dean, Program Director, and/or Division Manager. What We Offer : The targeted starting pay range for this position is between $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. Our benefits program for part-time colleagues (working at least 20 hours per week) includes paid vacation and state-compliant sick leave. We offer a 401k profit-sharing plan with a discretionary match and tuition assistance to employees and their family members beginning your first day of employment. Yes, if you have experience in your field! Teaching experience is not required if you are an expert in the field and meet the below qualifications: Education and/or Experience: Minimum 3 years of Experience, Education, and/or Training in the Subject Area Experience or training with industrial AC/DC control circuits and/or electrical technology Associates Degree or meet Faculty Equivalency Schedule : Mon-Thu (5:30 pm-10:30 pm) Teaching Topics: Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Wiring, PLC, Conduit Bending, Blueprint Reading, Theory, and Application.
