Electrical Maintenance Engineer We are recruiting for an Apprentice trained, electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer to join a major manufacturer based around the Kettering area of Northamptonshire. This is a Double Days shift position offering an opportunity to work for a major packaging group THE ROLE: - Your key responsibilities will be to provide Electrical support to ensure performance of all production machinery and electrical systems. - This will include; Variable Speed Drives VSD's, Inverters and preferably, Siemens Control systems programming / modification - Prompt attendance to automated machinery failures, and improvement / upgrade work. - General Continuous Improvement activities; spotting area's of the site and manufacturing area's to improve, creating solutions and implementation. - Project based work which may require you to travel to other sites in the group. THE CANDIDATE: - The successful Time Served / Apprentice trained Engineer will need to be qualified electrically and able to understand electrical drawings on 3 phase systems. - The Multi Skilled Engineer will be a logical thinker, with an autonomous approach to resolving issues and faults, a self-starter with the ability to prioritise urgent or non-urgent work. You must be a team player with sound interpersonal and enjoy being part of a small close-knit team. - The Maintenance Engineer should have experience within a manufacturing environment and automation machinery. - YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT. BENEFITS: Double days shift position 6 - 2p. m / 2 - 10p. m Salary: £46,000 25 Days + Bank Hols Co pension TBC Attendance Bonus circa £500 p. a Birthday + Xmas Bonus Private healthcare Cycle-to-work scheme This position will suit candidates with the previous titles of: Maintenance Technician, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer.
