Parsons is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to provide technical support for reverse engineering, test hardware assembly, setup, and calibration; and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing of foreign equipmentParsons is a pioneer in reverse engineering, and this position is at the forefront of evaluating threat system hardwareAt Parsons, you will work with technological leaders in this challenging and rewarding environment that will develop your skillsJob Description : Individuals will directly support task leads in the execution of complex engineering projectsSpecific duties include...--- Circuit-level analysis, subsystem-level test, and evaluation of electrical and electromechanical systems, data analysis, and documentation. * Limited ( Required Clearance :--- TOP SECRET/SCI (preference will go to those with an active clearance)Required Education & Experience:--- This position requires at least a BS or MS in EE and 0-5 years' experience. * Knowledge and experience with analog and digital circuits, control systems, power distribution systems, RF communications, computer systems, MATLAB/Simulink, electronic schematics, and electronics test equipment and troubleshooting techniques. * Ability to reverse-engineer electrical circuits and develop schematics and engineering drawings. * Excellent written and oral communications skills, able to compose and present technical reports and briefings. * Advanced capability to operate Microsoft Office software suite. * Mature judgment, interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively interact with team personnel and customer representativesPreferred Experience:--- Military experience in these highly desirable skills will be given preference as well: Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Avionics repair, Elector Optical/Infra-Red Sensor repair, Electronics troubleshooting/repair on military systems, Electromagnetic Warfare * Knowledge of military weapon systems and ground support equipment. * Knowledge of advanced software packages such as Altium and LaTeX (or other HTML-based word processing). * Laser and EO/IR operations. * Design and fabrication, such as welding, machining, CNC, and 3-D printing. * Experience planning and conducting test operations in austere field environmentsMinimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph This position is part of our Federal Solutions teamOur Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globeOur diverse, intelligent employees drive the state of the art as they provide services and solutions in the areas of defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmentalWe promote a culture of excellence and close-knit teams that take pride in delivering, protecting, and sustaining our nation's most critical assets, from Earth to cyberspaceThroughout the company, our people are anticipating what's next to deliver the solutions our customers need nowSalary Range: $70,500.00 - $123,400.00 We value our employees and want our employees to take care of their overall wellbeing, which is why we offer best-in-class benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid time off, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and holidays to fit your busy lifestyle!
