JOB DESCRIPTION E&I Plant technicians are hired at basic level as members of a work team. E&I technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, continuously update and train to increase their skills to meet our ever-changing production needs, meeting performance standards goals and maintaining the high level of quality in everything thing they do.RESPONSIBILITIES E&I technicians do various types of work, including but not limited to the following: * Make electrical repairs to run high-speed equipment. * Execution of planned maintenance tasks. * Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment. * Get involved, take charge of situations, and confront business-related problems. * Display electrical skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment. * Maintain accurate records and data. In order to perform the work described above in our manufacturing atmosphere, E&I plant technicians: * Use basic hand and power tools. * Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms. Twist, turn and bend; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.QUALIFICATIONS All applicants must: * Be 18 years of age or older. * Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.* Must have Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2+ years Industrial. * Electrical experience. * Must be Low Voltage qualified or have the ability to do so within first month of * onboarding. * Need to have exposure to automated controls systems in a high-speed * application. * Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of PLC * controls and computers.
