The ideal candidate will play a key role in the patent process, working closely with clients and inventors to prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications. The position also involves conducting various analyses on freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability. The candidate should possess a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, coupled with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Admission to the USPTO and eligibility for admission in Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, D.C., are crucial prerequisites for this role.Duties:Work closely with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process.Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications in and abroad.Conduct freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability analyses.Assist in other responsibilities or projects, as requested or needed.Requirements:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to or eligibility for admission in Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, D.C.Admission to the USPTO.Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.Education:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the USPTO.Eligibility for admission in Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, D.C.Job Location: Washington, D.C.
