Key Information: Location: Jansen SK 14/7 Night Shift Find own accommodations Loa and Travel Allowance Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment. Must have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal. Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week; however, overtime is required during the busy season. Must be willing to working evenings and weekends when needed. Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Health benefits and vacation pay offered. Job Description: Work with Superintendents, Project Managers, and sub-contractors to increase safety awareness and improve safety practices. Contribute to creating and execute safety plan. Implement excavating and backfilling execution plans. Responsible for safety on site. Lead and assist in weekly safety meetings on sites. Lead and participate in toolbox meetings. Assist in investigation and reporting of incidents. Supervise workers and coach them to higher safety culture and productivity.
